Becca Sweetman founded the company in 2019, after more than a decade in the Bay Area floral industry. She began her career in high school, owned an event business in college, and managed a flower shop in San Francisco before opening Sunrose Floral.
Becca is inspired by the solitary beauty in each stem & leaf, which she strives to highlight in each arrangement. Her signature style is wild, yet romantic and elegant, and always thoughtfully designed for the space and occasion.

We're a woman-owned and operated business, and we are committed to sustainable floral design. Based in Oakland, we have access to some of the best flowers from local growers and importers. We always strive to use locally sourced flowers as much as possible. We're experts in seasonality and have a growing relationship with our vendors at the San Francisco Flower Market. We guide our clients by recommending the best flowers in both seasonality and
Our sustainable practice's include: avoiding floral foam, harmful chemicals, and single-use packaging. We reuse custom vases and vessels.
